This breed is a true Blue Ameraucana (not an Easter Egger) and are prized for their beauty and large blue eggs. Ameraucanas usually have a calm and quiet personality. They have distinctive beards/muffs, slate or black legs, and pea combs. Hatched chicks may have blue, black, or splash feather coloring, however all colors will lay blue eggs.
